My husband and I have been married for only five years. We have a two year old son and my husband had spent all our money and savings on drugs. He refused to get help, even our family minister tried to get he to go to treatment. I was ready to file for a divorce, then I thought I would make one last try. I called Bob at Gentle Spirit Interventions and he assured me he could get my husband to treatment. I really wasn't sure, but I was desperate. Bob talked to me every day up until the intervention. He even talked to my husbands' parents and explained the intervention process to them. Finally, on the day of the intervention my prayers where answered. Bob showed up, the intervention took less than an hour and Tom was off to treatment. God answered my prayers, and my son has his father back.

How do I thank you for saving my sons’ life? Alan was completely out of control doing heroin every day. He was kicked out of school and had been arrested twice. We were at the end of the road until we finally made a decision to try an intervention. Bob educated us about addiction, treatment, and our options. We decided we couldn't’t live like that any longer. The intervention brought our family back together. Alan went to treatment and has been clean for 6 months. He is back in school, and even though it isn't’t perfect yet, our lives are much better today. My wife and I are still going to Alanon meetings and the entire family stills goes to family therapy twice each month. Again, my wife and I thank you for all your help.

Dear Bob,

My family and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the help you gave us during this difficult time. My sister and I were at our wits end as what to do with our mom. She refused to get help or go to a nursing home and we didn't’t know what was going to happen to you. She even refused help from the local department of ageing. We then called Gentle Spirit and set up an intervention for her. She agreed to get an assessment from the local agency and is now working with a social worker to allow some home health care. We could have never gotten her to agree without the intervention. Thank you so very much.
